 "I don't know where I'm going, only I know where I've
been. I'm a devil on the run. a six gun lover, a gamble
in the wind."     -Jon Bon Jovi

Jon Bon Jovi was born on March 2, 1962 in Perth Amboy and grew up in SAyreville, New Jersey. He begun to play piano and guitar at the age of 13 and uses Elton John songs in training. His first band is called Raze.

He had his first recording at the age of 19 and he sing the song "R2-D2 We wish You A Merry Christmas" on a Star Wars Chirstmas Album, Chirstmas With The Stars, with musics by John Williams, produced by Jon's cousin Tony Bongiovi at the Power Station in New York and released on the RSO label.

The band called BON JOVI, Jon quickly got a record deal with Polygram their song "Runaway" got on the national radio and hitting no.39 on the single chart. The band recorded their first album called "Bon Jovi" in 1984 and the album went gold after their sold 50000 copies and also release in the UK. They also gained experience on the road with ZZ Top.
He was a semi-successful disco artist back in the 70's. He also did the music for the movie "The Warriors" and his songwriting career took a huge leap when he wrote "I Was Made For Loving You" for Kiss.

In 1995 Jon made also his debut in a movie starring role, with the movie "Moonlight and Valentino", featuring Elizabeth Perkins, Whoopy Goldberg and Kathleen Turner. During the same year the world tour was ended in December and in the first months of 1996, Jon filmed his second movie, "The leading man", a black comedy directed by John Duigan. In 1997 Jon made his 2nd solo album, Destination Anywhere. And toured in 1997 and 1998 with the Big Dogs.

After that the guys went back into the studio and started working on a new album called Bounce, which came out in September 2002. The bon jovi fans, have been spoiled a lot the last 3 years. 2000, 2001 and 2002 have been great years, and I'm sure 2003 is going to be even MORE spectacular because of The Bounce tour.

He even made himself a little fun in playing some casino games to gamble at the Borgata, a luxury hotel and casino opened in Atlantic City, who has revolutionized the place because of its sophisticated and classy that is why it has attracted the upscale crowd that includes celebrities like Jon Bon Jovi.

Cool Bon Jovi Slot Machine

In Japan, they have just released a new Bon Jovi slot machine or pachisuro as they are called it there. It plays Bon Jovi music while you gamble,  then again, maybe we could win enough to pay for more tickets to see our boys in person rather than the cartoon version of them on the machine which is admittedly is adorable.
